Simone Genatt

Simone Genatt, President of Broadway Asia, is committed to presenting theatrical entertainment to cultures throughout the world; in the last five years, she has introduced performances in over 30 countries. A graduate of Stanford University and L’Universite de Nice, Ms. Genatt is the recipient of the Robert M. Golden Award for outstanding creative achievement in the theater. Prior to founding Broadway Asia, Ms. Genatt was the Apprentice to Gerald Schoenfeld, Chairman of the Shubert Organization, which owns the largest number of Broadway Theaters in New York.  She later worked with Roger Berlind, one of the most prolific independent producers on Broadway, with productions starring Glenn Close, Nicole Kidman, Richard Dreyfuss, Gene Hackman and Maggie Smith. She was the Managing Director of The Aspen Theater Company for several seasons and produced more than 8 shows per season for the Company.  Ms. Genatt speaks six languages, and has degrees in theater direction and production, sociolinguistics and musical theater. She is a member of the Broadway League of American Theaters and Producers.

 

Marc Routh

Marc Routh is one of the producers of SWEENEY TODD, HAIRSPRAY (Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, Drama Critics Circle, Drama League Award, Best Musical), THE PRODUCERS (Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, Drama Critics Circle, Drama League Award, Dora Award, Variety Critics Poll Award, Evening Standard Award, Helpmann Award, Best Musical) on Broadway and in the West End; and the current New York and touring productions of STOMP (Drama Desk Award and Obie Award for Unique Theatre Experience) off-Broadway. His Broadway credits as producer include LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, SWING! (Tony Nomination for Best Musical), THE WEIR, THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Tony Nomination for Best Musical Revival) starring Richard Chamberlain, and FOREVER TANGO. His Broadway credits as Associate Producer include SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE (Tony Nomination and Olivier Award Nominations for Best Musical), A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (Tony Nomination for Best Musical Revival) starring first Nathan Lane and later Whoopi Goldberg, THE TRIUMPH OF LOVE starring Betty Buckley and F. Murray Abraham, and PENN & TELLER: THE REFRIGERATOR TOUR.
